Ever since Connecticut joined others in the effort to reduce single use bags—like plastic bags we used to find at the grocery store—it’s been both a personal mission and personal statement to find a well-designed tote perfect for shopping. We collaborated with United Sewing & Design to construct a long-lasting tote ready to hold anything from big leafy greens to soaps, candles, and other artisanal products we’re sure to discover at farmers’ markets. We cut no corners—unless you count the work done to prepare the upcycled nylon. Nearly 100% goes directly to a team of highly-skilled sewers in Hartford, CT and to supporting the makers, growers, and artisans being featured in our upcoming live local guide.
