Going from ‘ideas’ to ‘action’
I tend to be a font of ideas and observations, which as an entrepreneur can be incredibly valuable, until it isn’t. At some point, you have to act, you have to follow through, and you have to deliver. I highlight a few ways we are working more closely with local businesses, improving our reliability, and taking action.
Reconnecting and recharging in the New Year
We made waves in December with the launch of our Holiday Gift Guide and the launch of our first-ever Gourmet S’mores Kit featuring handmade marshmallows and custom-baked graham crackers. This was the first we had ever worked with our small business partners to truly create something new—and it was a smashing success.

For those more interested in trying new things while feeling good supporting Connecticut small businesses, we needed to find a better balance between the variety of products you got, the price, and the frequency.

Getting locally grown cut flower bouquets is one of our missions this year—and we’ve discovered a whole group of flower farms across Connecticut called the Connecticut Flower Collective.
