Living a local lifestyle is a journey that involves connecting with and discovering local artisans and purveyors. However, not everyone has the time to visit local farmers markets or explore every corner of Connecticut.
Convenience is key. Our goal is to make locally made goods accessible to you while creating new ways for exceptional small business owners and artisans and promote their work.
Living local means shopping with intention. It means shopping from businesses that are high-quality, trustworthy, credible, and accountable. Living local means knowing you’re supporting small, family-owned businesses including minority-, veteran-, and women-owned businesses.
Shopping local is better for your health, and the health of our local economy. You can feel good knowing your purchases are supporting families, not the big-box stores.
At Curated CT, 40% of our revenues go directly to local small businesses. Their success is our success. Every season, we partner with a different Connecticut non-profit, and 1% of our sales goes directly to support them.
Like you, we care about our future and our planet. Our quality of life is directly impacted by our environment, so we want to do our part.
We invest in mushroom-grown, biodegradable packaging materials from Ecovative Design, so items like cheese arrive to you chilled while minimizing one-time use or plastic-based materials.
